British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
