David Walliams parted ways with publishing house.
Best-selling children's author and TV personality David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the publisher said: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing any new titles by David Walliams."
It has been reported that the conclusion was taken subsequent to an investigation into reports of inappropriate behaviour directed at female individuals.
The publisher did not confirm the reasons for its decision, noting: "It is not our policy to discuss confidential company decisions."
A Prolific Writing Journey
Walliams ranks among Britain's most best-selling authors for kids, having sold in excess of 60 million copies internationally in dozens of tongues.
His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
A number of his titles, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into television films.
His bibliography includes more than 40 books combined, which features a festive story called *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins last autumn.
From Screen to Page
He first rose to fame on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has also won National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was made an OBE several years ago honoring his contributions to charity and the arts.
This development follows the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive last fall.
